I grew up in Central New York, moved away for a decade, and eventually found my way back home. I suppose it really is true—there’s no place like home. Then I met my husband, Matt, and here we are. 

While planning our own wedding, I discovered how much I loved everything about the process—from the grandest details to the little moments that made it uniquely ours. I knew I wanted to share that experience with other couples, and that’s how Magical Wedding CNY was born.

As a Certified Professional Wedding Officiant, I’ve had the honor of marrying more than 60 couples. I believe every love story deserves to be celebrated, and your ceremony should feel like you—personal, meaningful, and never cookie-cutter.

Love is love, and we welcome every couple who wants to say “I do.” My goal is simple: to create a ceremony that tells your story, celebrates your love, and gives you a moment you’ll remember forever.

When I’m not officiating, you’ll find me golfing with Matt, reading, knitting, traveling, or spending time with our French Bulldog, Elvis.

After witnessing, firsthand, the pure magic Vanessa creates for her couples, it made me realize I wanted to do more than just support from the sidelines; I wanted to help tell the stories that make each wedding so unique.

I became ordained to join the family team, bringing my passion for captivating an audience through the art of storytelling. My goal is to take the laughter, the quirks, and the milestones of your relationship and weave them into a ceremony that feels less like a script and more like a journey.

Hello! I’m an ordained officiant with years of experience bringing unique love stories to life across Central New York. What started as a special request to officiate a family member’s wedding quickly sparked a true passion, and I haven't looked back since.

From traditional vow renewals and intimate handfastings to multi-cultural celebrations, I craft ceremonies tailored entirely to you. I believe open communication is the secret to a seamless ceremony—and a successful marriage. Energetic, attentive, and deeply dedicated to my couples, I listen closely to your vision to ensure your big day is everything you’ve dreamed of.

I currently live in Greenville, North Carolina where you will find the home of the best BBQ, beaches, and college football - Go Pirates! If I am not exploring new restaurants with friends or traveling, you can find me cuddled up on the couch watching Netflix with my pup, Maple. 

Since working in the mental health field, I have been able to fulfill my passion for helping others become their best selves, but my eyes were opened to a completely different route for helping others.  

After being a part of several weddings over the years - either as a bridesmaid, bartender, or assistant planner, I knew I wanted to have a bigger part of making a couple's biggest day truly memorable.
